Apple Says iTunes LP is Open to Indie Labels

According to this article, the iTunes LP format will be open to indie labels.  It has been previously reported across the internet that this particular format will cost indie labels upwards to 10k to produce an iTunes LP.  This article states that there is no production fee by Apple.
